    It's a fair enough sample size to at least give this a couple trial runs.

    Trial runs. You mean after you realize it doesn't work, you code some more changes that make it marginally better. Then after that, it still doesn't work. So you code some changes that makes it marginally better. Then you think it's "good enough" so you leave it, and think "we did it!" but the fact is you only improved it to the degree people could barely tolerate it enough to not stop playing entirely. Then you ignore that the old system worked 100 times better and we're stuck with your terrible shitty system. This is a terrible idea, and I guess I'll have to find a new server to play on or start my own server. I still haven't thought about it in terms of what kind of players you'll attract with this system. God only knows.

    The better combat system is possible, the problem is just the shit built up around instaly 1 hit killing (what stun is in most cases) folks.

    I should mentioned that chems that affect stamina would be reworked, currently Aranesp makes you near immune to stamina damage and other anti-stun chems also restore stamina. These would have their effects tweaked such that there is always a risk inherent with using them.

    A lot of things will also be balanced, like e-shields for nukies, energy resist values on armour and even the fukken tesla zaps.

    this should go without saying, but you should probably fuck with those balance changes before the taser tweak, not after.

    also, you said sec will have Krav Maga? do you mean the gloves, or just the ability to perform it? because the thought of a bunch of greys that are deadly in close combat irks me a lot more than a bunch of greys with tasers

    Ready L:earned Krav-Maga, not glove based but I do like the idea of Krav Maga gloves being obtainable somehow.

    ah, thank god. you could still keep a pair for the warden, maybe make them extra dangerous some how, or have them be a random spawn in maint someplace

    We could always re-implement old krav maga, and make the gloves stay the same.
